Rules
The Rules

1. This is a place for people who love to role play! Any fandom is welcome here, but only one of each character may be played at one time (Though there are several incarnations of say, the X-men, only one Jean Grey or Cyclops). Multiple personifications of one concept is fine, though—different versions of Death, Satan/Devil, etc. are all welcome. As long as the character has played a role in a fictional work, they are probably acceptable.

Sorry, but no versions of major world religion leaders or deities will be accepted; if you are unsure if your pup is allowed, just ask a mod!

2. Any post or thread wherein adult material, i.e. sex, violence, etc. is explicit, it MUST be behind a cut-tag and clearly labeled as such. In addition, if the moderators discover that any underage players are writing threads with adult content; those players will be immediately ejected from the community.

3. There will be NO canon puncturing within the game. If your pup would recognize another character from a book, movie, or whatever—they need to keep it to themselves, unless both muns agree to something in advance. This means that someone from say, Gilmore Girls would not be allowed to approach a Harry Potter character, and tell them that they’ve read all of the books. More on that here.

4. There will be NO godmodding allowed, without a prearranged agreement between involved muns. A definition of godmodding can be found here..

5. If any of the topics that your pup deals with are potential triggers for others (i.e. cutting, eating disorders, drug use) it need to be behind a cut, and clearly labeled as such.

6. There is a cap of five pups per player, and no more than two characters from any one canon.

7. Each pup MUST have at least one open entrance post every two months; any other play is optional.

8. When a pup makes an entrance post, we will expect each tag posted separately (meaning that they clicked on ”Post a new comment”) to be treated as a separate thread. Any other treatment, i.e.: assuming that a new tag is to be included into the existing thread, is considered godmodding. Everyone who enters into a single thread must have done so by clicking on “reply to this” , and with the full consent of everyone involved in that thread. No ‘surprise’ thread-hopping if the muns are not informed before hand.

If you want to keep things linear when more than one person replies to an entrance post by clicking ”Post a new comment”, then you MUST add some sort of ooc note to your EP saying the replies will be handled one thread at a time (until each thread has reached a conclusion) in the order that they were received. Alternatively, you made make an ooc note stating that only one reply to the EP will be accepted. If you want to control who that tag comes from, then you should indicate in your ooc comment that the thread is locked to all except the person you want to thread with.

9. There will be no definitive rule on dropping threads, however, if it becomes a habit for any particular player, and the mods are asked to intervene, the offender may be banned from making new posts or tagging new threads until the dropped ones have been completed.

10. Read (really read--not just skim) the FAQ and Description of the grounds before beginning play!

11. Mod decisions are final. They can be questioned or disagreed with using logic (in a "This makes no sense because of This" sort of way) But in the end unless a mod decision is retracted by a mod then the decision stands. Going directly against a mod decision will result in you getting banned.
